In 2019, our founders spent months visiting clinics across India — from a solo GP's chamber in a Bengaluru suburb to a 20-doctor polyclinic in Chennai. The pattern was the same everywhere: either the clinic was still on paper registers and manual billing, or it had invested in expensive, bloated hospital software designed for 500-bed institutions — software so complex that the receptionist had given up using half of it.

The middle ground didn't exist. Affordable software that was actually built for how Indian clinics work — GST billing, ABDM compliance, Indian pharma databases, WhatsApp communication, multi-specialty templates — simply wasn't there.

Clinemo was built to fill that gap. We wanted every clinic in India — from a village GP to a multi-specialty hospital in Mumbai — to have access to software that is powerful enough to handle everything, simple enough that any staff member can learn it in a day, and priced so that even a single-doctor practice can afford it without hesitation.

That's still why we come to work every day.
